
The Summit Bird Safari Challenge
Do you like to look for birds? Do you have a phone or a camera? Did you know the Summit Loop in Laporte is recognized as an eBird Hot Spot?
This summer, you are invited to take pictures of birds while on the Summit Loop trail as part of our Summit Bird Safari Challenge. Submit your bird photos to be in the running for a nifty prize!
Bird Safari Photo Challenge Guidelines
All photos should be taken on The Summit: Center for Wellness campus, located on Rt. 42 between Laporte and Eagles Mere between July 1 - 31.
Each person may submit a maximum of 4 photos. Suggested categories are below.
It is understood that all photos submitted may be used on Loyalsock Foundation’s website and social media accounts.
Judging will be done by a committee of bird enthusiasts and Loyalsock Foundation volunteers. We’ll notify the winners by mid-August.
This challenge is open to EVERYBODY: residents, visitors, kids, adults!
Email your photos to info@loyalsockfoundation.org. Include your name, address, age, and photo categories with your submission.
